These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Consul Bot, including our Telegram bot, our website at consul.bot and any related services (together, the "Service"). The Service is provided by Pyramid Scale, Inc. ("Pyramid Scale", "we", "us" or "our"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service does
Consul Bot is an AI assistant that helps you prepare a visa application. Depending on your route, it can explain the requirements, prepare a document checklist, collect your details in a chat, fill in application forms, check and monitor appointment availability, help you book an appointment, and arrange supporting reservations such as flights, hotels and travel insurance.
2. We are not a government body
Pyramid Scale is an independent private company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for any embassy, consulate, government or visa centre (including VMS, AlmavivA, VFS Global, BLS International and others). The decision to grant or refuse a visa is made solely by the competent authorities. We do not guarantee that you will receive a visa, an appointment on a particular date, or any particular processing time.
3. Your account and eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
- You may submit information about other people, such as family members or children travelling with you, only if you are legally allowed to act for them and have their consent (or their parent's or guardian's consent).
- You are responsible for keeping access to your Telegram account and any linked email secure.
4. Your responsibilities
- The information and documents you give us must be true, complete and your own (or provided with the right to share them). Giving false information to a consulate can lead to refusal or a ban.
- Always review every form, checklist and document we prepare before you sign or submit it. You remain responsible for your application.
- Visa rules change often. We work to keep our information current, but you should confirm important requirements with the consulate or visa centre.
5. Acting on your behalf
Some features, such as filling a visa centre's online form or booking an appointment, require us to act on your behalf on third-party websites. We do this only after you ask us to and confirm any notices or conditions those websites require. You authorise us to enter your information on those websites for that purpose. Third-party websites have their own terms, fees and rules, which apply to you.
6. AI-generated content
The Service uses artificial intelligence. AI can make mistakes, misread a document or give incomplete answers. The Service gives general information and practical help; it is not legal advice.
7. Prices and payment
- Some features are free and some are paid. The price of a paid feature is shown before you pay. Payments are currently made through Telegram (for example, Telegram Stars) and are also subject to Telegram's terms.
- Our prices do not include consular fees, visa centre service fees, insurance premiums or other charges set by third parties, which you pay to them directly.
- If a paid feature did not work as described, contact us at hi@consul.bot and we will review your request for a refund. Fees paid to third parties are refundable only under their own rules.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to submit forged or misleading documents;
- resell appointments or use the Service to book appointments for people who have not asked for them;
- interfere with, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the Service; or
- use the Service to harass anyone or to violate the rights of others.
We may suspend or close access to the Service if you break these Terms.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, text and branding, belongs to Pyramid Scale and its licensors. You keep all rights to the information and documents you provide. You give us permission to use them only to provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that third-party websites will be available.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pyramid Scale will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, travel costs, missed trips or visa refusals, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Pyramid Scale against claims arising from information you provide, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
13. Changes and termination
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the bot. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the new Terms. You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your data.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pyramid Scale, Inc. is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law rules, except where the law of your country of residence gives you protections that cannot be waived.
